Community

WHSTLR-25 VIC-13

“What should young people do with their lives today? Many things, obviously. But the most daring thing is to create stable communities in which the terrible disease of loneliness can be cured.”

― Kurt Vonnegut, Palm Sunday: An Autobiographical Collage

Change is coming

WHSTLR-35

The weather has turned and the snow is almost gone. Thoughts turn to yard work, mountain biking and nighttime walks. But more than anything this spring is bringing  a new direction and a whole new set of challenges. More than I have faced in a very long time. New career directions, new artistic avenues and a new life as a stay at home father. The major life adjustments have already been done its now a matter of adaption.  Adapting to the new routines of a 1 year old boy, adapting to the idea of a new direction after 11 years at the same company  and profession. With every new day comes a new found confidence and with that comes a dream for something better than the day before. Change is coming and change is good.

You have a son and you start to wonder what kind of father you will be. Too strict? Too soft? Too overbearing? Too lenient? After seeing this I want to become the dad who pays just enough attention, and is watching over my boy just enough so that he grows up to build death traps like this with very little regard for safety or gravity for that matter. #minimalistfathering #dadgoals

Ps. What the kids are doing with geo-grid these days is mind blowing!

We’re going live!

This is just another big step in what is becoming an exciting year full of new challenges. Full time fatherhood and a new career direction has made turning 40 a really big deal and I look forward to what else may lay ahead. Thanks to everyone who has supported me through these times and I look forward to seeing what comes next!

My biggest cheerleader!

My biggest cheerleader!

We’re out there!

We just need to do some tweaking. Please keep checking back on our progress.

Thank you
